Community members invited to join Riverview Modern Streetcar Project committees

Ramsey County is forming two public advisory committees for the Riverview Modern Streetcar Project to increase outreach to and amplify the voices of people who live, work and recreate on and near the corridor. Applications for both the Community Advisory Committee and the Station Area Planning Task Force will be accepted through December 15, 2020.

These two committees are critically important to making sure pro-transit voices are heard, so please consider applying for one or both committees today, especially if you live in the Highland, West Seventh, or Downtown communities.

The Community Advisory Committee provides the project team with a well-rounded community perspective on project design, environmental analysis and community engagement opportunities and techniques throughout the project area. The committee will be made up of of 15-20 members who will meet quarterly.

The Station Area Planning Task Force will guide the development of station area plans within the city of Saint Paul as well as advise and host community engagement efforts related to station area planning. The task force will be made up of 15-20 members who will meet every one or two months.
