Join Sustain Saint Paul for a (rescheduled) walking tour Grand Ave between Snelling and Fairview Ave, where lots of new things are happening. We will meet at the south side of the Weyerhauser memorial chapel on the Macalester campus at 6:00pm and depart by 6:15pm. We will end at Sencha for post tour beverages (~7:15PM).
The tour will give a brief history of this section of Saint Paul and Grand Avenue and highlight some of the changes coming to the corridor.

• The first Common Cent program to reconstruct Grand Avenue from Snelling to Fairview.

• Future plans for Macalester to build a dorm on Grand Ave replacing a parking lot.

• MnDOT safety improvements on Snelling from Grand to Saint Clair.

• Hidden River middle school renovation and expansion.
