The city has spoken in favor of a safer Summit for everyone! Let’s celebrate this advocacy victory and enjoy the beautiful trail route with a community bike slow roll and social hour.
We will meet at Summit Overlook park, ride down to Mississippi River Boulevard, then turn back and meet at Sweeney’s for a post-ride beverage or snack! Folks without bikes welcome - a group will walk together from the park to Sweeney’s.

• Date: Monday, June 26th, 6:00-8:00pm

• Location: Starting at Summit Overlook Park, 418 Summit Ave, Ending at Sweeney’s Saloon, 96 Dale Street N

• Schedule:

  • 6:00pm - Socializing at Summit Overlook Park

  • 6:30pm - Roll out! Easy pace to Mississippi River Boulevard and back.

    • Not biking? Stroll or strut through the lovely neighborhood.

  • 7:30pm  - Happy Hour! Meet up at Sweeney’s Saloon patio.

• Transportation Directions:

  • By Bike: Highly recommended! There are painted lanes on Summit Avenue.

  • By Bus: Nearest to routes 21A, 63 and 65
