Transit Oriented Development & Land Value Tax for Sustainability

Transit Oriented Development & Land Value Tax - Presentation by Metro Transit graphic with yellow and blue bus and woman next to a chart on an easel

Maybe you've heard of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) - but do you know about Land Value Tax (LVT) and how it can help achieve the goals of TOD? Maybe you’ve never heard of either of them, but want to learn because you care about making a better St. Paul!

Join us for this online event, where Michael Krantz of Metro Transit will present on his Land Value Tax study, and how sustainable housing intersects climate, transportation, and equity.

You'll also learn about a bill to authorize the creation of land-value taxation districts that will be reintroduced by State Representative Steve Elkins. Elected officials invited.

Co-hosts Common Ground USA Minnesota Chapter, Sierra Club North Star Chapter, Sustain Saint Paul, Neighbors for More Neighbors, and Move Minnesota.
