Micheal Foley
  • Ward: 1
  • Neighborhood: Summit-University
  • Term expires: January 2022

Micheal has lived in Saint Paul’s Summit-University neighborhood since 2016 – first as a renter, and now as a homeowner with his wife Jen Dolen, two cats, and a small flock of backyard chickens.

From 2017 to 2019, Micheal served his neighborhood as a member of the Summit-University Planning Council board of directors. He held the positions of secretary and vice-chair, and served on the council’s communications and executive committees.

As a disabled veteran who chooses to not own a car, Micheal walks, bikes, and rides transit to get around. Dense, vibrant neighborhoods with access to safe, reliable transit are key reasons Micheal was able to ditch his car and move to Saint Paul from the suburbs.
