Show Up or Speak Out: Help Push for Housing Reform at the MN 2025 Leg. Session!

The future of housing in St. Paul—and across Minnesota—is being decided right now at the State Capitol. Lawmakers need to see & hear from real people like you to make housing more affordable, accessible, and sustainable for all.

Sustain St. Paul is proud to be a member of the Yes to Homes! coalition because this statewide housing initiative directly connects to the local policy work we want to achieve here in St. Paul. We know that real change requires both municipal and state-level solutions, and this legislative package is a key step toward expanding housing options and affordability.

Learn more about the specific Yes to Homes! bills here.

We need your help to show lawmakers that Minnesotans are demanding bold action on housing. There are two key ways you can make a difference right now:

Show Up in Person – Attend one or more of the upcoming legislative committee hearings to demonstrate broad public support for housing reform. A strong presence at the Capitol sends a clear message that our communities need change. We will provide buttons that allow you to show your solidarity!

Let us know if you can attend by filling out this quick RSVP Google Form here. This helps us coordinate Sustain St. Paul supporters before the hearings, provide updates, and ensure we’re showing up together as a strong, united presence.

Can’t make it in person? You can still have an impact.

We’re collecting personal housing stories to bring real Minnesotan experiences into the conversation. Whether you’ve struggled to find housing, faced zoning restrictions, or want to see more housing options in your neighborhood, your voice matters.

Submit Your Story Here!

Your support—whether by showing up in person or sharing your story—is what makes this movement strong. Sustain St. Paul is committed to pushing for real housing solutions, and we can’t do it without you.
