Zack Farrell grew up in Milwaukee and moved to Minnesota for school. After graduating from the University of Minnesota he stuck around and he's been living in Saint Paul ever since. In his time here, Zack has focused on growing roots in his new city and state, seeking out information on both the natural and human history that has come to define Saint Paul. This began with organizing on climate policy with MN350's Green New Deal team, then grew into learning about urban land use and housing policies through Neighbors for More Neighbors, and has now lead to working on these goals together with Sustain Saint Paul.
In the summer you can find Zack camping or hiking across Minnesota and biking around the cities, and In the winter you can find him at bonfires and breweries. In Spring 2022 he moved to Summit Hill, a neighborhood he chose in order to be able to buy groceries, pick up a tool at the hardware store, go out to the bar, and get a bite to eat at his favorite restaurant (India House), all without setting foot in a car.
